It is the last day of Paryusana —the eight or ten day festival of Jains. Most Jains observe a complete fast on this day. ISM spends whole day in prayers and contemplation.
Navratri is a festival celebrated in India. ISM celebrate this festival by performing dances (garba and dandiya) with staff people.
Diwali is a festival celebrated in India remembering God Ram who came back to Ayodhya after winning battle with Ravana (Evil). The day is celebrated by ISM staff by bursting crackers and eating out together.
